Andersen Construction and Ocean Park Mechanical have partnered together on many projects over the years. I personally have completed two projects with OPM: Dimension by Alta in Seattle, WA which was 6 levels of below grade parking, 27 story high rise multi-family building with 298 apartments, 200 parking stalls, and 3,000sf of retail space; and NV in Portland, OR was 2 levels of below grade parking, 26 story high rise multi-family building with 284 apartments, 228 parking stalls, and 4,200sf of retail space.
In both projects, Ocean Park Mechanical was the design/build Mechanical and Plumbing contractor, and as such, was instrumental in driving the design within the Owner’s budget, and maintaining it throughout construction. OPM took the lead role throughout the BIM process, facilitating the coordination of the other MEP+FP disciplines which prevented countless conflicts and headaches in the field. OPM is the ultimate team player, always making decisions in the best interest of the project, and staying true to their commitments. As a company, OPM has an approach that is easy to work with and they understand how to support a project effectively. Not only did I appreciate the value Ocean Park Mechanical brought to both of these projects, I look forward to working with them again.

Design/Build role for the Mechanical and Plumbing systems for the building at the 100% Design Development stage and were instrumental in bringing creative value engineering ideas to the table as well as completing the design and permitting processes. They continued to execute and play a key role through construction and project close out. Holland Partner Group is an Owner Builder specializing in multi-family new construction. Our projects range from garden style to mid-rise and high-rise. Since the beginning of Holland Construction, Inc. in 2011 Ocean Park Mechanical has been an essential partner of ours in our west coast markets. As a Senior Project Manager, I have relied heavily on OPM’s design build expertise from conceptual planning and budgeting through design, permitting and construction.
In the Seattle market we have partnered with OPM on 8 projects since 2011 where they have provided mechanical and plumbing design build services. The projects have ranged in size and overall budget from 100 units at $20 Mil to 300 plus units at over $100 Mil. Carmel Partners hired Ocean Park Mechanical as the Design-Build HVAC and Plumbing Contractor for the Hyde Square Project in Bellevue WA.
